I am a happy person and do not need anyone to make me happy. I just need to meet people who are also happy and we can share our happiness together. I am well educated and travelled. I work in the development sector, hence my believe in the fact that no man is an Island. My work brings out the other side of me. Through my work I have learnt to serve, to give to those who are less fortunate and made vulnerable by us humans. without expecting anything in return
I need to meet a gentleman to treat me like a lady. A man who respects and loves his mother and sisters - then he will respect me. A soul mate, a brother, a friend, with whom we can sit and converse about anything under the sun and forget time. An ambitious man because then he can achieve and most important a man who feels good about himeself. A man who assert himself without compromising his being and doing so with humility. A man who is proud to be who he is-himself.
In Africa we say "You are what you are because of others" i.e. A man who I will feel comfortable to say to "I am because you are"
Life is a journey, filled with challenges. Sometimes we win over those challenges, sometimes we loose. It is through those trials and tribulations that today "I am".
Seeing people creating, communicating soo many different issues, at the same time informing and educating, is what makes theatre one of my favourite outing. Creating in my one space and making it home for me and my son, is soothing and comforting. That's why I love gardening. Reading excites me, I can imagine and dream without limitations just as Jazz music brings out the romance and that woman in me. I love intensively, madly and passionately
